I’m a Leeds, Yorkshire based artist, illustrator and author.
I often describe myself as an artist who morphed into an author. The more apt description might be that I channel images and stories that take people to unusual and magical worlds. My greatest joy is getting lost in drawing, painting and writing stories that enthral people of all ages. My paintings are influenced by Renaissance art, Victoriana, historical costume, nature and plant life, as well as the mythology, folklore and landscape of the British Isles.
My mixed media artworks express emotions in an imaginative way, using vibrant colours, lush textures and fine draughtsmanship. Through my art I aim to create worlds of beauty and mystery full of colour, elegance and exquisite detail.
